Saw something, but not much.
However, it's not Impossible the Hasbro kids stuff is indeed influenced by what happens in the story.

Someone here suggested he could be part of the video footage the kids see from the crossrip. I hope it's just that and in-world product like the set design suggested with the Stay Puft marshmallow ad painted on old building.

Wouldn't it be cool to see the video footage taken from this perspective in Ghostbusters: Afterlife? They may need to use CGI for it, but so what? I think that would be a neat callback to the original film, while still feeling unique and important to Mr. Grooberson telling the kids about the Manhattan Crossrip of '84.
groschopf wrote: And even if it is CGI, that would be masked a little by being shown as old video tape footage uploaded to the internet. Kind of like how Tron:Legacy used the television footage in the opening to conceal the digital work they did on Jeff Bridges.Yeah, it wouldn't be so "in-your-face" if it appeared as a video clip on a computer screen with cuts to the reactions of the kids watching the footage.

JonXCTrack wrote: ↑February 25th, 2020, 1:43 pm I'm hearing chatter on facebook about "mini pufts" appearing in the film. Someone that attended a VFX event in Chicago saw some models (allegedly). This is a very ridicuolus situation. Now everyone of you can openly speculate about that but not me. Not fair

I can read between the lines... you're from a western suburb of Berlin that is fond of dance.
JonXCTrack wrote: ↑February 26th, 2020, 8:35 am I saw a post on Facebook where someone said that Muncher actually eats the mini-pufts in the movie. I suppose it's possible.I read that super fast and thought you wrote "Murray" lol That would actually be pretty funny
JonXCTrack wrote: ↑February 26th, 2020, 9:30 am You know, the more I think about it, the Shandor mine contains materials that presumably were used to construct Gozer's temple. If a similar temple exists in Oklahoma, maybe the new big bad (Gozer or otherwise) is defeated because Muncher eats the metal that this other temple is made out of?
