Makes sense. I've been ordering two of each.

An hour and forty five for me. Silly me thought "oh if I get on at 1pm they'll have gone up early and I'll have missed out". Ha ha... ha... Though if I HAD got on late I'm sure that's exactly what would have happened.

Same thought here. Hopefully other ghostheads who actually want them for their collection can get them before the rest are scooped up to resell.

In addition to the above question, the website says "Arrives by Thu., Aug 5" for the Ecto. I thought these things were coming in April?

Placeholder date maybe? That or the April date was wrong.

If that price stays $10 lower then I'd welcome the later date.

I swore I would only get one but with a savings of $10 each it's tempting to get two.

Theses are up for pre-order on Zavvi UK.

I managed to grab one of each from Hasbro pulse UK without any problems.
It says on my account that they're expected to ship on the 10th of May.

I switched to Hasbro Pulse because Zavvi have been terrible at delivering on preorders.
They still haven't fulfilled my Ectotron and I'm not holding my breath for it.

I had similar issues with them when it came to the first wave of Kenner classics.
Had to cancel and switch to comics and cocktails so It's great to have a direct line to buy straight from Hasbro this time.

Chris Stewart informed me the original price was $22.87 in 1987 so converting that to how much that is in 2021 comes out to around $53. Throw in tax to the $49.99 msrp for the Hasbro reissue, somehow, they managed to keep the cost relatively the same! $39.97 is a steal. Maybe it's a pre-order limited sale price.

As someone who was going to spend $50 on eBay for a dumpy vintage Ecto that needed to be cleaned I can't believe it's only $50. Glad I waited.

yes I second this, Zavvi has become trash at delivering pre-order items

To those that say Walmart has canceled orders before, how long after your preorders did that happen? Curious what a general time frame I have to be concerned about them just saying "nah" to my order.
