With 2020 turning towards its close, Prop Store of London is gearing up for its Treasures from Film and Television auction, and as before, there are a few offerings which are likely to attract the attention of Ghostbusters fans.

285. Photographic Slides, Polaroids, Negatives and Production Photographs Featuring The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and Slimer GHOSTBUSTERS (1984)
A collection of photographic slides, Polaroids, negatives and production photographs from Ivan Reitman's supernatural comedy Ghostbusters. This lot originally belonged to pyrotechnic supervisor Joe Viskocil.

The set consists of 20 photographic 35mm slides showing miniature model buildings and pyrotechnic effects; 28 Polaroids attached to sheets of lined paper, with handwritten notes in black ink; seven negative strips featuring the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and Slimer; and 24 colour photographs which were processed from original negatives. The Polaroids mainly show burning tests on various components of Stay Puft's costume. The majority of the collection is presented in protective plastic wallets and exhibits minor wear, including light scratches and tape residue on the Polaroids. Dimensions (each slide): 5 cm x 5 cm (2" x 2"); (each Polaroid): 11 cm x 9 cm (4 1/4" x 3 1/2"); (each negative strip): 3.5 cm x 15 cm (1 1/2" x 6"); (each photo): 10 cm x 15 cm (4" x 6")

286. Stay Puft Marshmallow Man Storyboards and Production Paperwork GHOSTBUSTERS (1984)
A set of storyboards and paperwork from the production of Ivan Reitman's supernatural comedy Ghostbusters. This lot originally belonged to pyrotechnic supervisor Joe Viskocil and is presented within a clear folder.

The 26 storyboards depict the moment the Ghostbusters team fought against Gozer (Slavitza Jovan), who had manifested into a 100-foot Stay Puft Marshmallow Man and terrorised the streets of New York City. Printed on white US Letter paper, each page is dated "Oct 20 1983" and displays artwork with several printed fields and a brief description underneath. Located at the back of the folder is a selection of schedules and memos relating to the process of creating and shooting the scenes featuring the giant Marshmallow Man. Minor discolouration is present around the edges of many pages. Dimensions (folder): 31 cm x 24.5 cm x 2.5 cm (12 1/4" x 9 3/4" x 1")

287. Terror Dog Statue Foot GHOSTBUSTERS (1984)
A Terror Dog statue foot from Ivan Reitman's supernatural comedy Ghostbusters. The two loyal servants of Gozer (Slavitza Jovan) first appeared when they manifested inside a pair of dog-like statues sat atop Dana Barrett's (Sigourney Weaver) apartment building, the location of Gozer's temple later in the film.

Sculpted in rigid foam, the large foot features an external layer of plaster, finished in a light grey to replicate the appearance of carved stone. A hole is present on the top of the foot, and sections of the plaster have flaked away exposing the foam core. The lot remains fragile and should be handled with care. Dimensions: 62 cm x 40 cm x 25 cm (24 1/2" x 15 3/4" x 10")

A collection of photographic slides, Polaroids, negatives and production photographs from Ivan Reitman's supernatural comedy Ghostbusters. This lot originally belonged to pyrotechnic supervisor Joe Viskocil.

A large Terror Dog statue from Ivan Reitman's supernatural comedy Ghostbusters. The two loyal servants of Gozer (Slavitza Jovan) first appeared when they manifested inside a pair of dog-like statues sat atop Dana Barrett's (Sigourney Weaver) apartment building, built years before as a temple to the Destructor.

The statue is made of rigid foam with a plaster-like coating, finished to replicate the appearance of carved stone. Exhibiting a menacing appearance, the creature features two large horns, an open snarling mouth displaying a set of fangs, and multiple protruding spines down its back.

This particular statue was sympathetically restored by Tom Spina Designs, Inc. The repairs include the reattachment of one tooth, the fabrication of several new horn components, and some paint touch-ups. The statue is mounted on a square base and displays some signs of paint wear and cracks in the coating. Dimensions (displayed): 117 cm x 88 cm x 121 cm (46" x 34 3/4" x 47 1/2")
