It's been confirmed today by the New York Police Department that actor Rick Moranis was the victim of an unprovoked attack on New York's Central Park West, near 70th Street, on Thursday morning.
Mr. Moranis briefly visited a nearby hospital as he was experiencing pain in his head, back and hip after he was punched to the ground. He then proceeded to report the incident at the NYPD's 20th Precinct.
