Hey guys,
I recently bought these volleyball kneepads off ebay as they seemed pretty close to the screen used version.

Obviously I'll be dying them grey, if anyone has suggestions for the best uk based dye to use.
Also I need some advice on how best to remove the logo from the pad.

It seems to be a heat transfer but after trying to peel/cut it off the surface it doesnt come off very easily, and as it's a woven material rather than felt it has damaged the surface on the bit I have managed to remove.

Use a VERY sharp scalpel to get the logo off, and go slow. They tend to be made of synthetic material so might not take dye well, most people use grey primer to paint them.

Just a little update, this is what I managed to end up with.

So after removing the logo as best I could, I hit them with a coat of primer, then covered the blue outer ring with grey acrylic paint and finished with a slightly darker grey spray paint.
Once it was dry I sewed the strips of 2"wide black elastic on for the GB1 look.

They're a little rough around the edges, but for what I paid and how simple the process was I'm happy.
