Hi. I can't really find a good point of reference for the belt. I tried to search on here so I apologize if this is a repeat post. Is the belt issued-tan colored or are people buying white and dying it gray? I'd like it to be accurate to the first movie, thank you!

The belts are closer to the white/grey end of the spectrum than tan. This screen-used belt from Ghostbusters was auctioned a couple of years back and looks grey/dirty white:
