I have noticed my proton pack v-hook is not GB1 accurate. Looking to replace it.

Looking at this from the GB store - https://www.gbfans.com/shop/pack-parts/metal-v-hook/

The biggest question I have is, does this store sell this hook in an up/down fashion like GB1 has (like here: https://i.imgur.com/suzqXqW.png)? I know GB2 they were more angled very similar to how this product looks, but unsure if I'll get an up/down non-angled version if I choose GB1. Curious for anyone's input. Thanks!

Yes, it's correct to the GB1 angle and mounting hardware.

The hooks on the 1984 Pack props weren't a straightforward up/down, despite how it looks in the image you've posted. Here's a better shot of the angle of the hook on Egon's Pack for comparison:
