I replaced my clippard screws on the pack with 1 inch 10-32 socket cap head screws with lock nuts, my shell was also too thick for the clippard screws. The ones I had were silver, but I found a method on YouTube of baking them in wet coffee grounds to make them black. It worked pretty well, I had to repeat the process a few times to get them as black as I wanted.

I havent had a problem with the stock screws on my wand Clippard, but the pack Clippard screws are replaced with socket cap screws (at least on the packs I used for reference) so I cant say how well it will hold on the pack side. My pack and wand are both 3d Printed with PETG if that matters to you.
