I'm a little confused. does the amplified sound board also work to power the lights?

It does. You can connect the GBFans light boards or a custom light set up. I'm currently using the sound board in a unique build and it's SUPER flexible with what it can do.

Can you direct me to a link or video that lays out how to use all the different functions, wireing and parts guide ect.? At this point, anything would help.
