I used one of the nstevic01 XLR Spengler Plates with blue brick wiring (viewtopic.php?f=31&t=35806) and it was pretty straightforward if you want to go that route. The added bonus is that the power switch becomes external. There is documentation for the GBFans soundboard available through the product description in the shop (https://www.gbfans.com/images/shop/pack ... ctions.pdf). Page four of the documentation shows a power switch in-line between the battery and the battery terminal on the sound board.
