Restoring my Camry after getting rear-ended is proving to be a pain(I got screwed twice in a row on selling it--I only wanted $500 and it had rear passenger bumper corner cracked and light kit broken, so I'm thinking of fixing the issues, playing with the bodywork a bit, and then trying to sell it.) Two friends made deals to buy it(I salvaged it, took a $600 loss to keep it, to help a friend, then got screwed, and another friend asked for it...waited...), then went and got other fixer-uppers without letting me know. I had to call fifty million times and be a pain to find out they didn't want it. I'd have been less pissed had they said they found/got a better car. Debating on cutting off the section from a junker, or make a fiber replacement(as much as I hate Bondo, for what I plan on doing to the car afterwards, I think it would be kinder), then detail the hell out of it. For major work, It has an oil pan gasket needing replaced, hoses replaced, and minor dings fixed. Whoever said wish I won the lottery, yeah, me too...I miss being able to play with my autos. I have a Cutlass Ciera S now, so I have a legal working vehicle, but man...had I known, I'd have fixed it instead.
