Where are you digging up all those obscure bits of interior detailing?

I bought mine from an outfit in Germany, but I have Fair Radio sales in Lima, Ohio to thank for telling me what they are. They're Telefunken SB-329/AR radio transmitters. wbparts.com has also been a big help. Now if only I could spend some time with the actual car to figure out what the last 4-5 pieces of equipment are my mission to catalog every piece would be complete.

Hey Loren, what's going on with the Ecto-1 forum at the moment? Been down for a couple of days.

You know, being British. I hate you, for finding this gold.
But being a Ghostbusters fan, I love you.
So I'm going to settle with being proud of you.

Haha, but then it wouldn't be accurate and people would be confused as to if it was a real Ecto or not...

And so it begins...
That's right, it's bodyshop time!!! Sorry for the blurry pics. That's what happens when you let 60 year olds take camera phone pics.

Alright everyone, here are some long awaited progress updates! These are all camera phone pics so I apologize for the poor quality. Let's start out with a little tour of the (my) bodyshop:
My compressor and media blasting cabinet
Me blasting the tops of the doors part 1
part 2
My 1971 VW Squareback (red car) and 1964 VW Karmann Ghia
from left to right: My 1975 VW beetle, 1969 Mercury Cougar, 2004 Corvette
The completely stripped left side of the Caddy
The right side quarter stripped
A picture of all the cars (I can squeeze 5 more in here easily)
And something I found interesting while blasting the door tops and the rest of the car. Apparently every body panel of the car has either all or part of the MM body number either stamped or painted on it somewhere...
That's all for now folks. Hope that's enough to keep you interested until next time!
