Not sure if this is the best place for this, because it's certainly not 'modern'. But I found this posted to Instagram. It looks like a 1959 Plymouth Belvedere.

This is a good place for it, and its been posted a few times. Supposedly next to an airport in New Mexico. Great car.

I'm 100000% in love with everything in that picture. The tarp and the caution tape put the entire display right over the top.

I was thinking a Mark V Ford Cortina, but the wing indicators have shiny bits (bobs?)

It's just a thing some people do at car shows - remove the bonnet so people can see what's been done in the engine bay.

Quite a lot of car shows (at least around here) require the hood be open for your car to get judged. In fact (and again...around here) you can tell the seriousness of the show and its judging by if they allow a closed hood....if they do, it's not a real show. Depending on your entry class, judges are looking for modifications....looking against mods (if entered as stock) and for overall cleanliness....everything should look brand new.

That's why I rarely enter those kind of shows LMAO!

That engine bay is amazing. No reason not to show it off!

Pfft, engine bay? My cab doesn't even look that clean.

The roads were slick as shit, visibility poor, and it was even still snowing when that was taken. Behold: Aurora drivers.

I still like the looks of those cats for an ecto.

Fans usually take pics of our Ecto when it is parked somewhere downtown, although I have seen a few in the action of snapping a pic while on the freeway.

Yeah it is nice to see pics of the various Ectomobiles on the road.

Normally when I watch YouTube videos of Russian traffic accidents it's hubris or inattention that leads to the collision. In this case I can only hope to someday see a video of someone aiming for that car. Russian traffic? You know what to do, get to it.
