Franchise/Charity activities ideas

Ok so I've joined up with our local Ghostbusters franchise. Went to an event for Charity... and pretty much just stood there. It was cool to take some pictures & all that but it would be cooler if we had something to to, like an activity to do with kids, or the general public. Any theme appropriate ideas?
