I bought the prop from the Store on November 1st (they're doing that sale of 50% off) and got one and...one LED is dead so I'll need to get another one to replace that.

I already went on ahead to make the Motor Control mod so I can control the arm's position.

Since the Rewire of the Leds is tricky and you can break the connector easily if not careful , I had in mind to make a small PCB that does it for you and I'm gonna look for the JST connector type they used so I can get the same 7-pin connectors and prototype my rewiring PCB for GB1 and GB 2 Patterns (also thinking making it one board if possible to save PCB manufacturing costs down.

Once I know the type of JST used I'll use those and make the board.

Also what else I can do to make it almost like the movie prop itself so it doesn't be like a toy and not a movie prop.

Hi, were you ever able to figure out the manufacturer and model of the board LED connectors? I've been trying to figure it out as well and from what I've found so far they dont seem to be made by JST as nothing in their product lineup matches exactly.

I think they are either Molex 0533980871 https://www.digikey.com/en/products/det ... 871/699072 or TE Connectivity AMP Connectors 1734260-8 https://www.digikey.com/en/products/det ... -8/1855522

I've got the Molex 0533980871 ordered and on the way, if it is correct i'll post it here.
