Thanks for this video. I got mine in a few weeks ago and honestly, it's intimidating. I'm not particularly good at soldering. I purchased the non-solder option so the electronics would be ready but I want to solder the rest of the cosmetic components. Any advice for someone who isn't so good with this type of thing?

My advice would be to watch my build videos, follow the instruction from Ectolabs closely https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... mo0XzHoM-y
Also you can watch some basic soldering tutorials on youtube and practice maybe on some old broken electronic thing floating around your home.
I can also say the basics, keep the soldering tip very clean with the wet sponge and brass brillo pad thing, use fresh solder and use flux where possible. I run my temperature on my soldering iron at 700 degrees and soldering very quickly. most important, take your time and try to have fun!
