This goes without saying, but the delay in release could not have helped those numbers.Agreed, and in addition there's also the drop off from those who only collect the first issue of comics.
Tom posted the final version of the Funko theme #4 Cover B and got advance copies of the issue.
Hm, I think that might be from Chapter 8, right before Mayhem chases Patty in the mannequin.
Corin posted a WIP of Erin wrestling a giant bug.
2/19: Corin worked on backgrounds and Patty today.
2/22: Trade is set for June 20.
Corin posted a WIP.
2/23: Finished page of the GBs opening fire.
WIP of Holtzmann plummeting.
2/24: Corin is halfway through work on #5.
3/8: Corin posted a WIP of a happy Erin.
3/9: Corin posted a WIP of Patty.
And a shot of them getting knocked off their feet (the final battle?)
Corin posted a WIP of someone partially destroyed-ish -- probably Kruger.
3/13: Corin posted a WIP of Abby telling off above figure.
3/14: Tom posted colored art of Kruger.
3/15: Corin has a page and a half left.
Preview for ATC #4Interesting that they appear to have changed the Funko cover. The Funko cover this issue was originally solicited with had the original Ghostbusters on it--now it's Holtzmann and the ATC ECTO-1. Which of course is far more appropriate to an ATC comic. (After all, the IDW Ghostbusters had a full Funko one-shot all of their own.)

Scroll up the page, I should have posted about it here around that time.
Corin Howell posted a WIP of buildings -- looks like the team walking off into the sunset kinda ending.
A WIP of a happy Kevin suited up.
And Corin Howell is done.
Aside from the usual Diamond stuff, Howell finished on March 16. I didn't expect the April 11 date to hold since the lettering and coloring needed to be done, then the comic printed then shipped to the States, etc. Early May makes better sense.
EDIT: Tom Waltz posted a clown panel.

4/10: Diamond posted the RI cover for #5. When Erin stepped into the paranormal studies lab.

I decided not to talk about this series until I'd read it all. And I'll just say, I loved it from start to finish. Oops, excuse me, I mean, "finish." Cos a Ghostbuster's work is never finished. It was a heartwarming series and I loved how, not only was it funny and Ghostbuster-ish, it strengthened the team' s bonds with each other. Something we don't see enough of with the Primes. And another thing we don't get enough of with the Primes, fully acknowledging the secretary as 100% part of the team.Completely echo these sentiments, wasn't a ground breaking story but was a pleasure to read and always fun to get more of these characters.
My one issue is it didn't feel like it needed 5 parts but this could be more to do with the long drawn out and delayed release schedule that definitely ruined the momentum a little. Will give them a re-read in one sitting and see if I feel the same.
That said, one more here for lamenting the scheduling issues. It seems Ghostbusters as a whole can’t get a break when it comes to getting comics in shops.
Nice story, perhaps not as deep as it could have been, but fun backgroundstories, and a great villain. Here's hoping for more!
- - If Sony actually did find a way in the contract of Bill to get him to do a GB movie, why did Sony not do a direct sequel?
- If Ivan is against the reboot why did he and Feig have a creative meeting about it where they both happily agreed it should be made?
- If Feig wanted to obliterate GB84 from existence why did he and Ivan both agreed to have nods and callbacks to it?
I hope to see more Ghostbusters from Kelly and Corin soon, be it ATC or otherwise!I don't know about Kelly Thompson because I recall she signed an exclusive to Marvel back in January and on her Twitter, she basically said she's not doing any more Ghostbusters any time soon.
That’s a shame. I hope at least it’s just a ‘moving on to better things’ rather than frustration at the delays killing the excitement. Either way, I’m glad we had them for this one run.I hope to see more Ghostbusters from Kelly and Corin soon, be it ATC or otherwise!I don't know about Kelly Thompson because I recall she signed an exclusive to Marvel back in January and on her Twitter, she basically said she's not doing any more Ghostbusters any time soon.

Picked up issue 5 over the weekend. Not a bad series. I don't think it need 5 issues though. Liked the writing for the most part, art, verdict is still out. I still feel that the main prime series is the better of 2 but for serious fans of the ATC universe it's a good series. To be fair, the prime series has had more time to flesh out its characters and story arcs. I think we need a bit more time with the ATC crew and to give them some more to do so we can get more inside their heads and see their daily routines. At most right now, we have them interacting with the Prime crew, and now their first real solo adventure beyond their origin story.
So in total:
- #1 sold 6387 units
- #2 sold 4484 units
- #3 sold 4115 units
- #4 sold 3992 units
- #5 sold 3706 units
Wow Jenny is one hell of a Ghostbuster. This is […]
Yeah, while I'm still very sceptical and want more[…]
That headline could be a repeat from 1989-present.[…]
Very cool! And I second d_osborn's suggestion.
