[Kid Chameleon]

I discovered this a couple of weeks ago and was overjoyed to find out that one of my favourite soundtrack albums had been rereleased... until I actually played the thing and discovered that my brand new record skipped on two tracks. Got Amazon to send a replacement and the skipping was even worse. Now sending both of them back for a refund. Total waste of time.

My record player plays other records (both new and used) without any problems so I can only conclude that the whole line of these are defective. Such a disappointment.

Has anyone here bought one of these represses and had a positive experience i.e. a record that plays from beginning to end without skipping? It would be nice to know if fully working copies of this album do exist but, in the meantime, I'll just make do with the CD and keep a lookout for an original press in the second-hand record stores.

The exact same thing happened to me! I also got a replacement and that was scratched in exactly the same place. I think the whole pressing must be faulty.
