I recently came into possession of a Motorola MT500. It has a DTMF pad on the back but the front is clean like in the movie.
I have built a sound kit using the Adafruit Audio FX soundboard in combination with some of the original buttons and switches to create an interactive Ghostbusters prop.
In the videos below I talk through how I took apart and put together my modded Motorola MT500 and in the second (much shorter) video I specifically show how I made my replica antenna. I made it in real-time so hopefully, it's easy to follow and copy yourself.
