I have recently purchased ghostlabs ultimate belt gizmo kit. I have a question about the Nixie shelf. The kit comes with a aluminum shelf I was wondering if the shelf is suppose to stay silver/aluminum or should it be painted black. Trying to get the most accuracy out of it. Thanks for any info provided.

It should be painted satin or matte black.
