Hello all. So, I decided I wanted to make a carnivorous plant to sit on my desk. Initially it was going to be a Piranha Plant from the Mario series, but as I was making it people kept saying, "You're making a Little Shop of Horrors plant!" So I caved to public opinion and gave it a greener paint job.

Main 'body' is a polystyrene egg covered in wall filler with a wedge cut out to achieve the open mouth.



Teeth are carved plasticard. I based the look on the teeth of the great white shark.



Tongue and gums are modelling putty.



I wasted a lot of time and effort attempting to sculpt and cast leaves. In the end I gave up and bought fake leaves for the hobby shop. The base is just a plant pot with florists foam in it supporting everything.

Seriously though, Bravo! This is one prop that I need to add to my shelf one day.

Thanks guys! I didn't realize there was ever a kit produced.

It was just the "head" and the stem. The rest you had to add yourself, including finding the correct vintage coffee tin.

Careful with the tins. Thare are a few that looks almost the same. The one I used is the correct model.
