I just got me some Magid 11 inch black electrical gloves they look pretty bad ass except the fact that they have text and a label stamped on them in ink how can I safely remove it without ruining the gloves. Let me know any thoughts thanks.

Well . . From my experience on working with plastic scale models . . I remove paint from plastic with Easy-off oven cleaner. It wont melt the rubber.

I left mine on because it was faded and very subtle. I didn't want to risk the damage.

Tried this out last night and I'm really happy with the results.

Before:







Both sides sprayed and left to sit over night.


The next day.


This is after a quick wipe down with a shop towel. The writing (for the most part) came right off.


Sprayed a little more Easy-Off and hit it with the same towel to clean them up a little.

I'm really happy with how easy this was to do. Thanks for the info

I know this thread is old, but I thought I'd throw this out there. Easy off is not required. I removed the text with just a scrub sponge (the yellow/green kind), dish soap and water. I don't know if the soap was necessary, but it appeared to me to come off more easily with it.
