We (Yes Have Some) had the pleasure of interview Kurt Fuller about his experience making Ghostbusters 2. Lot's of fun stories and insight into the making of the movie. Link is below!

Great discussion. Loved Fuller's anecdotes. Pretty damn cool to learn it was Harold Ramis who headhunted him for the movie, well his first wife.

First time I heard about the Gottfried-desk on fire thing but that seems to track with one of the earlier drafts when they were called to some finance guy jerk who had some form of spontaneous combustion or something.

EDIT: Taken from the 8/5/88 draft: On page 46, the Ghostbusters are called to the World Trade Center. They enter an investment firm called "Drexel, Burnham, Lambert" and meet with their client, Ed Petrosius - a super successful, very tightly wound and highly-charged bond salesman. On page 47, Petrosius causes things to burst into flames. Ray thinks its spontaneous combustion or pyrogenesis. On page 48, Petrosius states he wants to keep this secret or he might lose his job. On page 49, Ray knocks him out with one punch.

As does Fuller's story about Atherton. Peck was scripted to attend the GB's trial at one point in the drafts.

EDIT: Same draft as above: On page 33, Walter Peck is called up to testify. His middle name is revealed to be Margate and his new title at the EPA is Assistant Chief Deputy Investigator.
