So, I'm working on making a trap pedal and was wondering how to attach the flex tube "spring" to the bottom of the pedal since the pedal plate is metal.

You could glue a jar lid, or a round piece of wood or MDF, around the width of the spring, to the underside of the Trap pedal. You can either just leave a friction fit in place to secure the spring, or you could look into whether the two items could be glued, or zip-tied together.

Is the Tube Spring like the one Countspatula sells?

You could have that piece 3D printed from his files then tap and screw it on to the aluminum.
