Looking for suggestions on how to continue. I've sanded down the inside and also trimmed down the blue translucent plastic. However, the bar is still far from being flush against the pack. It is noticeable on the outside. I was thinking of using milliput to fill in the cracks? Any other recommendations? Or should I just keep sanding it down?

Keep sanding. You want it to be nice and flat. You should try using a dremel diamond wheel. Youll have it thinned out and flat in no time.

I'm about to fit mine and have a question - is the blue plexi meant to fit behind the window or be inset into it?
