So, my gen 1 Legris elbows have either cracked or have started to crack. Anyone have any luck repairing them or keeping them from cracking further? Luckily the cracks are on the underside where the tube goes in so they don’t look terrible. I was thinking of using epoxy to keep the crack from getting bigger and lining the elbows on the inside too to keep them from getting really bad.

I found a sealed bag of 4mm elbows two years ago and even untouched for decades they all had small cracks.

It's just one of those things that can't be helped. I would just use them as is unless a piece broke and it really needed to be fix.

Would a two-part epoxy provide a bit of a solution? If applied sparingly?

Alternately, a thin collar of metal painted the same colour as the elbow?

It's a frustrating flaw in the original design (and no surprise they'd been redesigned by 1989).

Thanks for the feedback guys! I may still try the epoxy or just use the gen 2 elbows I have. It just sucks because I’ve been getting the parts and pieces together for years and haven’t even started my build yet.
