I recently built a pair of Ecto Goggles for one of the members of my ghostbusters group using a VR goggles frame for the base frame. I used 3D printed goggle pieces from thingverse, a flashing led light circuit board from a lanyard I had laying around for the flashing LED light, a green and blue led from one of those 99 cent flashing led wand toys that they had recently at dollar tree and at dollar general, a 3 position toggle switch and a couple of 2 x AA battery holders. for the ends of the 3D printed goggle pieces I used the separated lens sections from a cheap clip-on cell phone camera enhancer I got from ebay.
