It seems like I've been away from this forum for ages!
Had to help my son get over some rough times. Anyway, are there any
band of Busters out there going to DCon this year? I haven't been since
2013. I snagged a room for six days last week and I'm proud of it! My first visit was
in 2009 and 30,000+ fans had attended. I heard last year drew 80,000+.

If you'd like to share fascinating stories, pros and cons, hotel concerns or anything
else that would get me back into the mindset of DCon, I'd like to read it.

I'll be there this year, and I'm sure that members of the ATL and Georgia Ghostbusters groups will definitely be there.

Great doctorevil! I enjoy meeting other busters
from across the country. For us out-of-towners,
snagging hotel reservations has been and will
probably be always a challenge.

Are you doing the parade?

I'll be checking with Michigan GB's to see if they'll be attending.

Probably not, will see. Depends on if my group is invited to join the other Ghostbusters groups walking in the parade.

I'm looking forward to attending DragonCon, haven't been since 2012. Don't think I'll bring my Ghostbusters pack though, too difficult to travel with via airplane.

During a convention, one of the GB's placed his pack on me.Wow!
I did not know it was that heavy. So, I decided not to wear one. However,
I do wear a backpack for my Republic Commando (Star Wars) character and
it's 90% lighter.

This may sound a little crazy, but I've started the process in conditioning my armor,
dusting off my soft costumes and preparing for DCon 2018 months in advance. Why
you may ask? Because I'm bringing a wardrobe full of stuff! Checkout my list below:

Also DrEvil, you don't have to be invited to march with us in the parade...ALL GBs are invited to march with us, we get 100 parade passes each year and hand them out to gbs at the lineup area first come first served, in 10 years we have never run out.

Wow! I'd like to do the parade for the first time as a GB.
This will definitely be a highlight for me at DCon. I'll bring both
GB's I & II coveralls. One for day, one for night . . . (LOL)

Yes indeed. Let's continue posting updates pertaining to any
events/parties/photo opportunities, etc., no matter how small
the detail. Even a meet-n-greet if possible.
